Pascal Mimero, Lyon FR:
- In December 2008 the Royal Society of Chemistry, our Eurolabels® partner for the United Kingdom, has awarded the Eurobachelor® Label to the Open University at Milton Keynes, UK.
- The trademark for Eurolabel® has been published.
- Reminder : this new website address is : www.chemistry-eurolabels.eu  (the old www.eurobachelor.eu will be disconnected next July). The contact email address has been updated according to the new domain name :

The next Label Committee meeting will take place in April 2009.

- General Chemistry 2 : the first draft translation into German is achieved for the whole database
- The Test Centre in Lyon has evaluated 150 students in the first quarter.
- Test Centre activity development is currently in progress in Italy and discussions are conducted to setup a first Test Centre in 2 new countries.

The next EChemTest Committee will take place in April 2009.

Chemistry and the Bologna process – current status and further needs

Registration is now open for the conference
which will be held from September 08 - 10, 2009, at the Technische Universität Dresden / Germany.

This conference summarizes the achievements of the European Chemistry Thematic Network and looks ahead to the Bologna era after 2010. The first key topic is Bologna Process Stocktaking. In the second part of the conference, high-level specialists will provide a perspective on ECTN and Bologna 2020. Details can be found at www.ectn-dresden.net .
