Aim of the group / Rationale: |
The importance of continuing
education is well recognized and many of the professional
societies as well as universities and industries themselves are
active in this field. Much of this effort is however nationally
or company based. The aim of this working group was to provide a
European dimension in this area.
This group has worked closely
with the Royal Society of Chemistry, and a database has been
established on the
ChemSoc website. This is a
database of course providers for post-university training for
industrial chemists. ECTN members are encouraged to provide data
for this database. |
